Angela Desiderato is a Partner and our VP of Managed Services at NET Xperts LLC. Get to know Angela better!

1. What do you enjoy most about working at NET Xperts? I love our staff and clients. Everyone works well together, and we have what I feel are the most knowledgeable engineers in the field.
2. Tell us about your home life! I’ve lived in a few areas of the country, including Florida, California, and Colorado. My real love is Pittsburgh; the people here are fantastic. I live with my three dogs in the Monroeville area.
3. What’s the best place you’ve traveled to and why? Colorado is probably my favorite; the mountains are incredible, people are friendly, and, even in the winter, the sun is out!
4. What’s something about yourself that might surprise us? I started my life working as a hairstylist both in Pittsburgh and Florida. Fortunately, I had to switch careers due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Life throws you curveballs sometimes, but they can be the best thing that’s happened to you.
5. What have you gained by working at NET Xperts? I feel that other than technical knowledge, I’ve gained patience, perseverance, and professionalism that I did not have in the past.
6. Where is your dream vacation location? Anywhere warm with white beaches!
7. What does a typical day look like for you? My days are basic; I’m at work by 8 and work on any number of items including Sales, Invoicing, and Ticketing. From there I like to go out to eat or grab cocktails a few times a week with friends. Other than that, it’s pretty quiet. 
8. What are three words you’d use to describe NET Xperts? Professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy.
9. What music is on your phone? 90’s alternative and grunge.
10. Do you have a motto/personal mantra? “Everything happens for a reason.”
11. Favorite thing to do in your free time? Spend time with my dogs and friends. I love visiting new restaurants in the city.
12. Favorite drink to order at the bar? Captain Morgan and Sprite – tastes like Cream Soda!
13. Favorite task in your role at NET Xperts? I love everything I do for the company, and I look forward to and challenge myself to do more every day.
14. If you weren’t doing this as a career, what else would you be doing? CSI or Forensics.
15. What is on your bucket list? I’ve done a lot in my lifetime and don’t have a bucket list. I do everything on a whim when I’m feeling it.
16. What upcoming tech innovation will dramatically impact the industry in the next five years? I feel that AI (Artificial Intelligence) will greatly change the way we live and work, even further than it already has. It’s predicted that this type of automation will eliminate 73 million jobs by 2030. With that said, we need to push graduates into more technical roles.
